It's hard to believe looking at lean and leggy 39-year-old Victoria Silvstedt, left, that she enjoys pizza and beer at the weekend.

"On Sundays, that's my pig out day and I do the pizza and the beer," said the former 'Playboy' model who was in Dublin to promote her 'Very Victoria Silvstedt' lingerie collection at Brown Thomas on Grafton Street.

A former professional skier and Miss World finalist who took to the Paris catwalks at 18, the Swede has made a career in television presenting and released her own music album.

However yesterday, she parked all questions about posing for 'Playboy' and being Playmate of the Year in order to talk about her lingerie and swimwear collaboration with the Marie Meili brand.

Silvstedt is the face of a system of push-up bras categorised from one to five, but judging from her enviable figure on show yesterday in a skin tight, burgundy Stella McCartney dress, she doesn't need much help in that department.

It was Victoria's third visit to Ireland and the French brand she is working with clearly have their eye on the bottom line as prices are keen.

Bras cost €25-€30 and briefs are €15-€17.

Asked about her enviable figure, Victoria said: "I used to do a lot of sports. I was a professional skier and it has always been in my blood to be active. The last couple of years I haven't eaten too much bread and pasta at night, I kind of do that in the morning and lunch time."

Her next career move is a 'Dancing with the Stars' type show in Italy called 'Let's Dance' and being tall, her advice was to do the samba rather than the cha-cha-cha.

"I'm going to have to work on my co-ordination, " said the leggy blonde as she set off across the floor in impossibly high heels.

She has designed dresses for a store in Sweden, and next stop on her fashion ladder is swimwear which will be launched next year.
