Supermodel Gisele Bundchen gets a buzz cut for new fashion campaign

Super model Gisele Bundchen is the face of Balenciaga’s Autumn Winter 2014 campaign, sporting a rather different look.
The Brazilian famous for her impeccable figure and tumbling honey locks can be seen rocking a sleek shorn haircut, and an even shorter skirt.
The dark and mysterious ad, shot by Steven Klein, will appear in the September issues of the glossies.
The most powerful model in the world appears to be more in demand than ever; the 33-year-old is currently appearing in advertisements for Emilio Pucci, Isabel Marant and Stuart Weitzman.
Designer Alexander Wang, Creative Director of Balenciaga, told Women’s Wear Daily,
“This is how I see Gisele for Balenciaga; strong, powerful, mysterious and uncompromising.”
“This season we worked with this idea of vanity, staged in a room filled with mirrors. But the cracked mirror is a continuing thread from the marble veins and creeping ivy leaves from seasons past.”
Gisele walked the runway for the brand back in February, in a rare catwalk appearance, and also appeared in their spring 2011 campaign.
