Stylewatch: Lucinda Creighton

Finally a woman in politics we can get behind, sartorially speaking. From the early days, when she posed for this paper in a cute Sixties-style white shift from Alwear, through to a recent appearance on the Sunday Independent cover in a statement, fire-engine-red winter coat from Zara, we’ve long been fans of the Creighton style.
She’s seen here at the recent election count at the RDS wearing a top from Asos, a skirt from Lipsy, a coat from Milly and scarf from H&M. We love a woman who can mix high street with designer. Restrained? Yes, but never to the point of boring. Career appropriate, but always with point of interest. At last we have our own Michelle/Samantha, except in this case she’s not just a wife of.
