Stylemma: Where can I find long tops to wear over my low-cut jeans?

My torso is long and I find it really difficult to get tops that meet my trousers. If I wear low cut jeans I look ridiculous as they are too low and my belly peeps out. I’m not a teenager anymore so really hate this look-help!
Thankfully you’re in luck. Since leggings and skinny jeans became staples in every girls wardrobe there has been a definite move toward added length in tops. Legging should never be worn as trousers, so longer tops are a must.
Topshop do great everyday vest tops (€18) in a multitude of colours that can be worn over jeans/legging or even as dresses. H&M and Awear have similar for even cheaper. Selected Femme and Numph in BT2 both do a great range of long t-shirts and tops at really reasonable prices.
Also, don’t overlook the shirt. There are tonnes around at the moment (Zara in particular have a great selection) and oversized is in, so length shouldn’t be an issue - wear belted or loose depending on your tastes.
Don’t forget that layering is a saviour for your body shape, throw a long vest under tops and t-shirts you already have to bring the eye line down and make them more wearable. If all else fails check out Topshop Tall section which specialises in styles for women lucky enough to have your problem!
