Gigi Hadid does things her own way.

When you're the world's most in-demand supermodel, it probably gets a bit boring wearing one gorgeous gown after another.

So why not get creative and start wearing some ugly trends instead?

Gigi has been championing some of the most unsightly trends and making them look runway-ready in recent days; most recently, with her Morgan Lane striped pyjamas.

The 21-year-old stepped out of her New York City apartment in a pair of green and white silk striped PJs with Stuart Weitzman white stilettos and a pair of vintage eyeglasses your grandfather would admire.

On Wednesday, she stepped out in embellished cashmere sweats which Vogue declared as "surprisingly party appropriate" - not least because of its €3,900 price tag.

The cropped Sally LaPointe sweat suit with slashed side detail was the perfect opportunity to show off her hard-earned six pack, but also her endearing ability to pull off quite literally any look.

She topped off her week of fashion experimentation with a pair of frayed denim capri jeans, band t-shirt and flannel shirt with an asymmetric hem.

All of this is a testament to the power she holds over the fashion world, Gigi and her fellow 'it' girls, sister Bella, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin have all endorsed the normcore trend (a modern adaptation of '90s fashion) which is why you see black chokers and high waisted denim on most teenage girls; which means we are set for an influx of capri pants, cropped sweatsuits and even more silk pyjama suits next season.
