A young mum from Meath is living out all our fantasies by getting paid to travel the world and stay in some of the best hotels.
Siobhan McAuley (27) has turned her globetrotting dreams into major success through her luxury travel blog TheyWanderlust.com.
She gets to travel the world with her husband Byron Kumbula (her photographer) and their one-year-old son Mason - visiting exotic, far-flung locations.
Speaking to the Irish Sun, she said she is proof that anyone can make their dreams a reality.
"It was something that I have always wanted to do, so I thought 'OK, I can either sit and dream about it or I can take steps to make it happen."
Her wanderlust earns her money as she makes her living as a luxury travel blogger and social media/creative content consultant for boutique hotels.
Born to an Irish father and a Sri Lankan mother, Siobhan said her passion for travelling stems from her upbringing and spending her childhood in Zimbabwe.
She claims what got her noticed is her "creative imagery" on her social media accounts.
"I use my modelling skills to create content, to make a place look beautiful and show that luxury lifestyle."
When it comes to the hotels she works with, Siobhan has a very specific criteria.
"They have to be five-star with a clear and honest direction that I can enhance as well as a good balance between contemporary luxury and distinct character unique to their location."
The ambitious blogger will take her family to New York, Mykonos and Mauritius over the next few months.
