Style savvy Kathryn Thomas shuns stylist and picks her own outfits for TV
Soon to be back on our screens for her sixth stint presenting Operation Transformation, Kathryn Thomas admits she is solely responsible for her tv wardrobe.
While Kathryn collaborates with super stylist Ingrid Hoey for her The Voice looks, for Operation Transformation she uses her own initiative and natural flair for fashion.
"I do all my won styling for Operation Transformation, it's good to be able to play around," she told Independent.ie.
"I'm a huge supporter of Irish designers. I love Irish designers and i love the high street so it'll be a real mix," she promises.
Fans of last year's show will recall Kathryn's outfits from the likes of Karen Millen, Zara, Orla Kiely and Arnotts instantly selling out once the episodes aired.
"It's such a pleasure to be able to give young designer coming up a clothes horse and a focal point and a platform."
Kathryn (36) is also a fan of emerging Irish couturiers, Lya Solis and Umit Kutluk.
As for how she gets in shape before filming, Kathryn admits she's out and about everyday keeping active.
"I love running, I love walking my dogs and I do a lot of weight work with Siobhan Byrne in Body Byrne," she says.
