Racegoers raise the style stakes as temperatures soar at Grand National Day
The style stakes were raised as women and men flocked in their thousands for the final day of the Grand National Festival in Aintree on Saturday.
Ladies dressed in bright and bold colours as the sun shone at the racecourse and temperatures soared to 19 degrees, with statement accessories and footwear grabbing attention.
Over 70,000 racegoers flocked to the festival ahead of the final Grand National race in the evening.
On Friday, Carlow woman Faith Amond picked up the prize for Best Dressed at Ladies Day, a brand new Range Rover, for her red and pink ensemble.
Wearing an outfit by Irish designer Louise Kennedy and a hat by Irish milliner Jennifer Wrynne, Ms Among revealed she bought some of the pieces last year and put the outfit together herself.
