'Please slim' - Net-a-Porter accidentally publishes Photoshop instructions
It seems like every week we're greeted with a new Photoshop fail.
After Vogue's recent cover featuring Ashley Graham, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid raised eyebrows, this gem from Net-a-Porter is doing the rounds.
The screengrab, taken from the high end retail website, shows notes with green arrows with instructions to "Please slim", referring to the model's hips, arms and shoulders.
It's worth pointing out that the ad is for socks.
The ad was removed after a few hours and replaced with an image without retouching notes.
A spokesperson for Net-a-Porter told Cosmpolitan.com the picture was "uploaded in error" and is now in reference to the model's shape, but rather the clothes she's wearing.
"We post images that accurately represent the garments so that customers receive product they expect. This image was uploaded to our product page in error and the notes refer exclusively to the garments."
