Nobody wanted to sit next to Tiffany Trump at New York Fashion Week
Tiffany Trump has found herself in the precarious position of being high profile enough to nab invites to shows during New York Fashion Week without the general popularity that comes with it.
When the 23-year-old daughter of US President Donald Trump nabbed a front row seat at Philipp Plein on Thursday, she happily posed for photographers, but what the cameras didn't catch were the empty seats around her.
Pictures of the University of Pennsylvania graduate have gone viral after fashion editor Christina Binkly shared photos of the first daughter seemingly unaware that the seats around her were empty.
According to Binkley, two editors were uncomfortable sitting next to Tiffany and were moved, leaving the seats directly next to her vacant for two minutes before being filled by an executive for the label and Plein's sister and girflriend.

Binkly, who first shared the pictures with the caption, "Nobody wants to sit next to Tiffany Trump at Philipp Plein, so they moved and the seats by her are empty", now describes them as "urban legend".
"She was surrounded by photographers, and the two women who moved were leaning away — they clearly didn’t want to be in those photographs. But I don’t think Tiffany really noticed that, because she was active with her friends and the photographers," she told People.

"It’s easy to assume from a photograph that she sat there, humiliated, with empty seats by her, which wasn’t the case."
Earlier in the week, Tiffany attended the Alexander Wang show with her mother Marla Maples.
