It was a new mums lineout with models Sarah Morrissey and Yomiko Chen both back to work after having given birth to daughters late last year.

Kicking up their heels, the duo took part in the Littlewoods SS17 launch at Dublin's Morrison Hotel, stepping out in styles from the V by Very range, which was launched last September.

Highlights of their 30-look fashion show included a studded black leather jacket embroidered with red roses with a red dress, at €75.

Sarah is pictured wearing a star print blouse, €41, a pleated midi skirt, €47, and wrap-heeled shoes, €47, while Yomiko wears a printed ruffle dress, €74, wrap-heeled shoes, €47, and mono-stripe crossbody bag, €34.

Trends for SS17 include a St Etienne-inspired stripes story, luxury athleisure and a girly trend of sugar pinks and pastel denims.

The clothes are available in sizes 6 to 24, and this season a petite and curve range has been introduced.

The move across from the traditional catalogue sales of yesterday to retail online was highlighted yesterday in figures released by Shop Direct Ireland, which trades as Littlewoods Ireland.

It revealed that its digital department store, LittlewoodsIreland.ie receives an average of 2.5 million visits each month with more than 60pc of online sales completed on mobile devices.
