Michelle Obama steals the show in yellow dress at State of the Union address
Michelle Obama pulled out all the stops in the style stakes for the President's final State of the Union.
The First Lady of the United States opted for an eye-catching canary yellow Narciso Rodriguez dress for her appearance at the House of Representatives gallery on Tuesday night.
The 51-year-old managed to steal the spotlight in a sleeveless midi dress by the American designer, which proved so popular that it sold out within hours of her appearance.
The marigold number features a slightly flared skirt, funnel neckline and a fitted, banded bodice.
Rodriguez was a fitting choice for Obama, who wore one of his black and red midi dresses on election night in 2008. Throughout her time in the White House, she has regularly endorsed the New Jersey native's collections.
