Jennifer Lawrence is effortlessly stylish in Daisy Dukes during New York apartment hunt
Trust Jennifer Lawrence to make apartment hunting look glamorous.
The Oscar-winning actress (24) is currently in New York, shopping for a new apartment and slayed in her bang on trend ensemble.
The X-Men star looked effortlessly chic in a pair of denim hotpants, over the shoulder grey top, cat eye sunglasses and trilby hat as she searched for a new property in the Tribeca area.
But it's her Elizabeth James bucket bag that has wowed fashionistas, with Vogue describing it as the "perfect bag for summer".
J-Law is currently on the hunt for a luxury rental property in the market of $10,000 a month and is also filming X-Men: Apocalypse in Montreal.
"Jennifer Lawrence is looking at apartments to rent at around $10,000 a month. Which, in Tribeca, doesn’t get you much: a not-so-great two-bedroom,” an insider told the New York Post.
Meanwhile, as her relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is strong as ever, she's also keeping a firm friendship with ex-boyfriend and co-star Nicholas Hoult.
The pair dated on-and-off between 2011 and 2014 after meeting while shooting the X-Men franchise. Although they aren't together any more they have apparently been friendly while shooting the latest instalment Apocalypse, with suggestions Nicholas might have reconciliation on his mind.
"When they first got to set, Nick and Jen hugged in front of everyone," the insider said. "They've gone straight back into their old cosy routine of lunching together every day - often with takeout sushi in her trailer. They're always reading lines together and they crack each other up."
Jennifer gushed about Nicholas when they were together, famously marvelling about how unaffected by fame he is. In 2012, she also laughed that he didn't realise many women found him hunky.
"Oh, he really doesn’t care... like he'll sometimes wear these white tennis shoes with jeans, then tuck his pants into his socks," she giggled
"He has absolutely no idea how good-looking he is… I think a lot of women and men hate me because of that."
