As the old adage goes, “We’ll stop wearing black...when they invent a darker colour”.
At last night's star studded launch of Samsung's new Galaxy S6 at The Marker Hotel, some of Ireland's most well known models proved that sometimes less really is more.
Former Miss Ireland Sarah Morrissey showed off her figure in a long sleeved crop top and wide leg pants, accessorising with a class quilted Chanel handbag and her signature gold hoop earrings.
Sarah's close friend Yomiko Chen opted for a high necked jumpsuit with parachute pants, teaming the look with metallic wedge sandals and a sleek high ponytail. The Japanese beauty is due to marry her long term love and business partner Iain Conway in three separate bashes this month.
Kilkenny native Karen Fitzpatrick looked chic and elegant in a paired back knitted turtle neck dress, opaque tights and court shoes. Gold jewellery, a chunky watch and a chain belt finished off her outfit.
Thalia Heffernan showed off her youthful style and modelling prowess as she posed in a monochrome halterneck top and tailored trousers. The Dubliner kept it simple, adding only a fringed black clutch and barely there sandals.
Meanwhile, up and coming supermodel Li Ann Smal showed exactly why she was scouted by Burberry as she looked radiant in a simple asymmetric maxi dress that would have looked frumpy on any other mere mortal.
