Life may be a catwalk for models, but plus-size beauty Seana Sweeney has said she had to work hard, on and off the camera, to make ends meet for her and her young son.
Along with being one of the country's busiest curvy models, the Andrea Roche star (30) is mum to Dru (7) and also works in a lighting business, where she worked full-time for years before getting her break in modelling.
"I was a single mum when I had Dru. I raised him on my own up until a couple of years ago - when I met my partner John," Seana told the Herald.
"I never really knew any better. I was working full-time and raising Dru on my own.
"I fell into modelling and that meant I was able to cut back on the hours I was working, so I had more flexibility - it's definitely a bit easier now, along with the money being better. I was very lucky."
While Seana is a regular in lingerie and fashion campaigns, as well as on TV shows including Ireland AM and Xpose, she has continued to work at her other job and is also set to start a degree in digital marketing at IBAT College Dublin next week.
"It's nice to know that there's work when you mightn't have much going on with modelling," she said.
"Along with being a model, I also worked in the agency as a booker. There's such a strong link between modelling and social media."
