Heidi Klum's clone Halloween costume cost $10m to produce
Heidi Klum's inventive Halloween costume reportedly cost $10m to produce.
We always knew looking like a supermodel didn't come cheap, but this is excessive.
The former Victoria's Secret Angel (43) who is famed for her OTT Halloween costumes upped the ante on Monday when she marked the holiday by "cloning" herself six times.
Klum spent a fortune on prosthetics, wigs, hair stylists and makeup artists to get her five look-a-likes clone ready.
Mike Marino of Prosthetic Renaissance told TooFab said he used a crew of seven people and cost an estimated $10m, saying it was "tons of work, it's like doing Heidi 5 times.
He worked with members of Klum's team to make the project work, which took months to complete.
In order to "clone" her, they made a master cast of her face and each model wore a special mask from that made to look nearly identical to Heidi, who is now a judge on America's Got Talent.
Anyone can actually be Heidi if they wear this mask. But, the eye shapes of each girl will show through. That I cannot change. There's really only one Heidi, and her eyes tell it all," he said.
