For a lesson in racing fashion, look no further than Celia Holman Lee.
The 65-year-old style icon injected some colour into the dreary weather at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at The Curragh Racecourse today as Ladies Day was in full swing.
While judges searched the extensive grounds for today's Best Dressed Lady, the former model agent as holed up in the exclusive hospitality area with good friend, socialite Annette Rocca.
Celia supported local Limerick fashion in a fitted pink dress and lace cape from a nearby boutique with a purple floral hat by Carol Kennelly.
Rocca made a rare public appearance in a cobalt blue and black combination.
Also spotted soaking up the atmosphere at one of the premier events on the Irish racing calendar was Gay Byrne and Kathleen Watkins.
This year's style ambassador Rachel Stevens added a modern twist on the traditional racing ensemble with a black and white dress by Self Portrait, but the real jewel in the crown was her love it or loathe it headpiece by Laura Kinsella.
