Blake Lively shows off her tiny baby bump in show-stopping mini-dress at Cannes
Blake Lively is the new queen of Cannes.
The 28-year-old actress is expecting her second child with actor Ryan Reynolds and much like her first pregnancy, she's bringing her own unique twist to the maternity style game.
During her tour de dresses at the Cannes Film Festival, Blake opted for another show-stopping look in a white mini dress, accentuating her tiny baby bump, at the premiere of The Shallows.
For her dramatic entrance at the opening night of the Palais des Festivals, she wore a figure-hugging flesh coloured gown by Versace and earlier in the day turned heads in a Juan Carlos Obando jumpsuit at the Cafe Society photocall.
Blake's turn at Cannes hasn't been without controversy as she expressed her upset at a joke made at director Woody Allen's expense.
Master of ceremonies Laurent Lafitte shocked the audience at the grand premiere of Allen's new comedy, Cafe Society, on Wednesday night, when he said: "It's very nice that you've been shooting so many movies in Europe, even if you are not being convicted for rape in the U.S."
The Gossip Girl star wasn't laughing at the joke and she is outraged at Lafitte's remarks during his opening routine, which also included quips about the gay community and Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.
"I think any jokes about rape, homophobia or Hitler is not a joke," she explained to Variety. "I think that was a hard thing to swallow in 30 seconds.
"Film festivals are such beautiful, respectful festivals of film and artists and to have that, it felt like it wouldn't have happened if it was in the 1940s. I can't imagine Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby going out and doing that. It was more disappointing for the artists in the room that someone was going up there making jokes about something that wasn't funny.
"He made three homophobic comments in a row. A Hitler joke. And a rape joke. It was all within 30 seconds. What on Earth was happening? It was really confusing."
