Style Dilemma: How to pack light for a Paris mini-break

I'm heading to Paris at the end of April for two nights. I'm travelling with Ryanair, hand-luggage only. Packing has never been my strong point – could you advise on how best to pack for a three-day trip that will include one night out at a show? Jean (28), Dublin.
Parisians are a super chic bunch, so, if you don't want to stand out like a sore thumb, avoid flashing too much flesh. With that in mind, the key is packing versatile separates that are interchangeable, allowing you to create multiple looks.
Given that space is limited, a good tip is to pick an overall colour palette for your trip. This way, each item will work together in different combinations.
Take this season's monochrome trend, for instance. A pair of slick, black skinny jeans will work with practically anything and will be comfortable for travelling. Pick up a slim-fit pair in Penneys for €16 .
Alwear's cowl-neck black top is an understated piece that is perfect for layering. It will bring interest and texture to an all-black outfit (€35).
Savida's monochrome stripe peplum top (€18, Dunnes Stores) will take you seamlessly from an afternoon shopping to dinner in the uber-chic Saint Germain des Pres district.
Use your accessories to inject a pop of colour. Think chunky necklaces, statement earrings, bangles and lightweight scarves.
When it comes to footwear, comfort is key. A wedge bootie, such as the black 'Sidley' with cork heel, will carry you from day to night (€70, Debenhams).
Wear these on the plane and pack a nude heel for your night out on the town.
Finally, no Parisian outfit is complete without a pair of shades. Go retro with a pair of this season's catseye sunnies, which you can pick up from €2 or €3 at Penneys. Et voila!
