YOU can mix up the colours, prints and fashion designer labels, but there is one common denominator on the style front this year and that's femininity.

The launch of the Brown Thomas spring/summer collection in Dublin highlighted both major and micro trends.

Victoria Beckham's latest designs feature a lot of grey while the show opened with a standout Mary Katrantzou dress. Meanwhile, Lanvin's shiny shirt and skirt was pure drama in metallic raspberry.

The sophisticated lady is dressed to perfection by Dolce & Gabbana and a yellow coat with diamante buttons won hearts at the 90-piece runway show.

The woman with great legs will welcome the return of hi-low hemlines and pleats also turn up a lot this season. Colour wise, expect your wardrobe to fill with pleasing pastels, subtle pinks and cool peppermints.
