Rihanna's 'Styled to Rock' moves to US TV

Singer's show was not a success in the UK

Rihanna's fashion reality show, Styled to Rock , may have reportedly been banished from UK television screens, but it seems the poor reviews haven't put off US network Style, who have just announced they'll be airing a new series of the show next year.

The singer will both star in and executive produce the 10-episode series, which will follow the same format as the UK-based show, whereby 12 aspiring fashion designers battle it out to win the accolade of dressing Rihanna for her performance at this summer's Wireless Festival.

"Rihanna is a trailblazer, a trendsetter and the epitome of style. She has a powerful and unique point-of-view that transcends every aspect of pop culture, including fashion, and is a leading creative force," Salaam Coleman Smith, president of Style Media, told the Hollywood Reporter . "On the heels of our successful network rebrand, Styled to Rock and Style's new partnership with Rihanna will reinvent the fashion competition genre, fueling our viewers insatiable appetite for all things style."

There's no word on whether presenters Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts (and her teeth) will resume their positions, although it's doubtful seeing as neither are well known across the pond.
