Rihanna 'excited' to front designer search
Rihanna is "excited" to front her first TV project which will aim to discover new fashion talent.
The stunning songstress will be casting budding designers who will be challenged with creating outfits for celebrities and musicians.
The winner will be awarded the honour of creating a stage costume for the Bajan beauty’s performance at London’s Wireless Festival this summer.
"I've always had a great love of fashion. It's a constant source of inspiration and is a big reason why I've grown into the artist I am today,” Rihanna explained to British newspaper The Sun.
"I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts."
The star will not only appear in the Sky Living show, she will also executive co-produce and help edit the programme.
Rihanna herself is said to have “handpicked” British popstar Nicola Roberts to present the show. A bandmate of Rihanna’s pal and Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole, Nicola has been making a name for herself as a style icon during the band’s hiatus.
"I am so excited to be working with Rihanna on finding a new up-and-coming designer,” Nicola said. "I was so flattered when she asked me to work with her on this show. I'm so excited for us to get started."
