Rhianna and Kendall Jenner strut the catwalk at Chanel 'supermarket' show
The newest darling of the fashion world, Kendall Jenner, strutted down a supermarket aisle at Chanel’s showing at Paris Fashion Week this afternoon.
The reality star, along with supermodel Cara Delevingne and pop star Rhianna, epitomised shopping chic as they modelled for Karl Lagerfeld against a backdrop of food shelves.
The Grand Palais in the French capital was transformed into the world's chicest grocery store, fully stocked with Chanel-branded food.
The models donned a modern twist on Chanel’s signature tweed jackets, with oversized colourful designs in neon pinks and lime greens.
Kendall carried a shopping basket braided with Chanel’s chain design, capturing the essence of the fashion house’s heritage.
She took to Instagram to post a picture of Chanel's spaghettini, captioning the snap, ‘‘Lifetime supply please? #Chanel.’’
Rhianna also joined the models for the supermarket sweep, laughing as she was pushed along the new-style runway by supermodel Cara.
Before the show, the R&B star was pictured on the red carpet fashioning an unusual preppy vibe with her tip-to-toe Chanel attire.
She wore a powdery lilac crop top and mini-skirt consisting of Chanel’s famed tweed.
Her new baby-doll hair cut with poker straight hair and a blunt fringe added to the sweetness of her lady-like outing.
The models showcased the new collection by browsing around the artificial supermarket with trolleys and baskets, pulling at items on the shelves.
Cara wore pink ripped jeans and neon-coloured laced trainers when showcasing the statement tweed jacket.
Pink, purple and green hues were the dominant colour running throughout the entire show.
Lagerfeld used vibrant Chanel rags to braid the models’ hair in dreadlocks to showcase the assortment of colours central to the show.
The creative designer used stacks of eggs and fake coupons to conjure up the elements of a food store, an unusual backdrop for a high fashion show.
Hollywood actress Keira Knightley arrived for the highly-anticipated show donning a cropped monochrome ensemble that used a tight-fitting black panel to emphasise her waist.
She is the face of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and firm favourite with designer Lagerfeld.
