Best dressed: Blake Lively

Now, this is how you stun onlookers -- take note, Nancy! Another self-styled fashionista, Blake knows only too well how to drive the paparazzi wild.

All you need is one fabulous figure-hugging dress emphasising a seriously hot bod. It's simple really ...

They say you should dress for the job you want and Ms Lively is doing the perfect audition for the role of movie star in this Zuhair Murad Spring 2012 Couture gown.

We're a little bit impressed.

To be honest, we've never been sure about the actress's style credentials.

On the one hand, it's all very well looking fabulous when Karl Lagerfeld just happens to be your VBF, you've had a Louboutin shoe named after you and you're the newest face of Gucci perfume.

On the other, she's proved that she's no one-trick pony, managing to rock casual and high-fashion looks.

And we do love this sexy, sassy number, accessorised with tumbling curls and retro lips.

This Gossip Girl is growing up.

Worst dressed: Nancy Dell'Olio

Seriously Nancy, whatever were you thinking?!?

Miss Dell'Olio's claim to fame is that she once dated a former manager of England's football team.

So it's fitting that she scored a sartorial own goal in the week when that country crashed out of the Euros.

Perhaps Nancy chose her ill-fitting halter dress in homage to those unfortunate players.

She does like to show off her figure, although a little more hemline could have worked wonders.

We know that some people will be tempted to mutter about mutton. Not us, obviously.

But that's nothing when compared to her bizarre choice of headdress.

It may be eye-catching -- onlookers reportedly had to be treated for shock afterwards. But surely not even the not-so-shy and unretiring Nancy who describes herself as a fashion icon (yes, really!) sees herself as the reincarnation of the legendary Cleopatra?

This car-crash is more like Carry on Cleo. Mark Anthony must be turning in his grave.
