Red Carpet Wrap: Best and worst dressed
Best Dressed: Lea Michele
Looks like Lea Michele has the looks to match that powerful voice as she picked up a TV Actress of the Year Award this week in London.
The blossoming brunette wore a draped shoulder-deep blue gown by Zac Posen to collect her award, and there's no doubt that her grin of Glee was partly due to how stunning the starlet looked.
Teamed with a super-smooth updo and classy earrings, Lea hit all the right notes in this fabulous winner's look.
Long gone are the pleated skirts and knee high socks of the Rachel we have come to know and love on our screens every week -- this lady is no high school student any more!
Isn't it great to know her talents don't end on stage. We'd be happy to see you on any red carpet, Lea!
Worst dressed: Jessica Brown Findlay
Jessica Brown Findlay may have shot to stardom in the epic ITV series but for this occasion her dress sense has gone Downton. Perhaps madam has taken a few too many petticoats from the set and sewn them together?
The frumpy beige ensemble does nothing but wash out her complexion, and her maid must have dashed off and left the poor lady's brown locks to their own devices, looking tired and lank -- we have hairdressers now, Jessica!
The Valentino dress had no part in winning her Glamour Magazine's UK Actress award -- we only wish she had gone to collect her prize in something more deserving of our favourite Crawley sister.
Bring back the Downton Abbey costumes so we can once again swoon over the delights of the cast's wardrobe and try to put this whole nightmare behind us.
What would the Dowager Countess say?
