Red Carpet Wrap: Best and worst dressed

Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police this week?
Best dressed: Thandie Newton
Ah Thandie. We can always count on you for a sterling performance in front of the cameras (fashion cameras, that is, as we can't actually remember the last film you were in).
But just because your acting career peaked years ago, doesn't mean you can't still dress like an A-lister.
Pictured earlier this week in London at the Laureus World Sports Awards, the 39-year-old wowed onlookers in this one-shouldered Osman Resort dress, cinched in with a slimline gold belt.
The black and gold Roger Vivier clutch kept in line with the simplicity of the look, topped off with eye-catching gold earrings.
And L'Oréal, we are in agreement -- Thandie really is worth it.
Worst dressed: Chelsea Handler
When one of your best friends is Jennifer Aniston you'd imagine some of the star's fashion sense would rub off on you. But unfortunately in Chelsea Handler's case, it seems it was more Jen's comedic sensibilities that influenced the actress and talkshow host's dress choice at the premiere of her latest movie This Means War in LA.
Chelsea's black-and-white striped Elizabeth and James jersey dress was a tad too casual for the red carpet, especially when your co-star is the always-presentable Reese Witherspoon.
But like we said, maybe funny girl Chelsea (36), known for her sharp tongue and wit, was just being herself and 'having a laugh' with it.
But really. Doesn't she know a red carpet event demands some fashion respect? Maybe next time she'll have a better handle on it . . .
