Red Carpet Wrap: Best and worst dressed
Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police this week?
Best dressed: Nicole richie
She may not have been the biggest star at the Globes, but Nicole Richie certainly put her best Jimmy Choo-clad foot forward to compete with the Hollywood big hitters.
The one-time small-screen star slinked her tiny figure into a sleeveless, open back silver gown from the Julien Macdonald Spring 2012 collection.
And the shimmering silver material did just the trick as sparkling Nicole caught the eye of every beholder.
The 30-year-old mother of two kept Life Simple with a sleek ponytail, a touch of colour in her bracelet, her trademark dark-rimmed eyes, and topped it all off with a House of Harlow 1960s clutch.
Nicole, we are in awe.
And we're sure dad Lionel was only Dancing on the Ceiling with pride!
Worst dressed: Erin Wasson
Around this time of the year we're spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a best and worst on the red carpet, as all the stars come out to shine at the various movie awards. And with the Golden Globes kicking off the season earlier this week, we all saw the stunning gowns worn by the likes of Angelina Jolie and Sofia Vergara grace the magazines in the days that followed.
But then there were those we wish we hadn't had the misfortune to lay our eyes on. Like model Erin's sad excuse for a dress, which she wore to the after-party.
The svelte 29-year-old hasn't an ounce of fat on her body, but did she really need to go near-to-nude to prove this?
The barely-there, plunging, sheer-fabric top complete with shredded ends looks like if it were wrapped around your neck it would even make for a flimsy scarf!
At least we can be grateful for the strategically placed lace detail over her chest, although we can't say the same about her knickers-on-show lower half!
