Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police this week?

Best dressed: Charlize Theron

It's a tricky one.

So what do you wear when you want to convey that you're more than just a glamorous movie star?

That damned Angelina isn't the only one with a social conscience, y'know.

But at the same time you certainly don't want be outshone by all your famous BFFs who are turning up to support your inspiring charity work.

Starlets with a heart should check out Charlize's work.

She so made the right choice at this launch of portraits in aid of her African outreach program.

Her demure, yet figure-hugging dress, its high neckline balancing out the short hem, is the perfect blend of serious sexiness.

And no-one is left in any doubt about who's the real star of this show.

Worst dressed: Lindsay Lohan

Wow, doesn't Donatella Versace look amazing?!

She may be in the middle of her sixth decade, but it seems a lifetime devoted to fashion, peroxide and surgery can keep a girl looking, oh, as if she was right in the middle of her sixth decade.

Who have thought it?

But wait just a minute, on second glance, it appears that we're wrong, very wrong.

That isn't a 56-year-old with a serious penchant for partying and very bad hair.

It's actually a 25-year-old who never seems to know when it's time to go home. And she also has very bad hair. No wonder we were confused!!

It's all a bit sad, though. It doesn't seem like that long ago since Lindsay Lohan was being lauded as a fresh-faced beauty.

Now too many parties, trips to rehab and public spats with on-off lover Samantha Ronson, not to mention knickerless-gate, have taken the gloss off the rapidly ageing starlet.

She looks like she's just rolled out of bed in this cheap and nasty dress and tacky, tacky shoes.

But what's really tragic is that she thinks she looks fabulous.
