Red Carpet Wrap: Best and worst dressed
Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police this week?
Best Dressed: Beyonce
A history of dodgy choices means that the 'Crazy in Love' singer isn't exactly renowned as a style icon. And when she dressed up in her mother's cast-offs, we really were -- well -- horrified is an understated way of putting it.
But she's certainly doing her best to rein herself in these days as her appearance in Lanvin at the Billboard Music Awards shows.
Normally she can't resist bling, bling and yet more bling. So we're going to applaud her admirable restraint this time. Although, to be honest, we kind of miss the sequins, fishtails and drama that make up her usual choice of accessories.
Still, we're loving her oh-so-enviable sparkly Louboutin heels.
The Independent Woman shows that she certainly isn't letting herself go after putting a ring on her playboy.
We're a bit stunned, really, but in a good way!
Worst Dressed: Yasmin le Bon
This really is Yasmin Le Bon. Seriously, we're not joking.
This is what happens when a supermodel hangs up her stilettos.
Scary, isn't it?
A losing combination of too-long stringy hair, an unflattering silhouette and accessories that are stuck in a '90s time warp without a hint of irony add up to a look that's leaving us stunned -- but not in a good way!
It's possible that Yasmin is desperately trying not to overshadow her daughter Amber, who has followed her into the family business.
But she really doesn't need to worry -- there's not a chance of that happening with this get-up.
