Red Carpet Wrap: Best and worst dressed
Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police this week?
Best dressed: Dannii Minogue
It might have been a hangover from Halloween but finding a well-dressed woman this week was almost as difficult as the quest for the perfect man.
There was a time when Dannii Minogue's name was only mentioned in fashion halls of shame. Who could have foretold that she would one day become one of the best-dressed women in the public eye?
Like most younger sisters, Dannii went through an ugly- duckling phase of harsh hair styles, immovable foreheads and tacky dresses.
Now, though, it's all soft highlights and laughter lines. Meanwhile, the people's princess Cheryl Cole's dresses get trashier as her hair extensions get rattier.
Here, Dannii shows off her post-pregnancy figure with a flowing black dress, that falls away from the bust in a flattering empire line.
It is perhaps cut a little too daringly on the bust but she balances the focus with a statement necklace.
Worst dressed:Tara Palmer-Tomkinson
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has always had a slight, athletic body. She has even spoken of the trouble she has keeping weight on, which will find little sympathy amongst the sisterhood.
Still, one might imagine how Tara would have to dress carefully for her figure. How easy it would be for her to look too thin or too muscular if she revealed too much thigh or shoulder.
Dressing in flattering fabrics like silk, for example, is probably the best antidote. But a silk jumpsuit?
The cuffed sleeves, hoop earrings and fake ponytail make her look like she's auditioning for a remake of I Dream Of Genie.
In truth, the worst thing about this outfit is the garish emerald green. The strong shade drains all colour from her face and the vast swathe of colour is just too much.
We were impressed, however, by Tara's ability to make a bad outfit even worse. The tacky black fur stole drains any remainder of life from her face and leaves her looking like Cruella de Vil. Fashion fail.
