Red carpet wrap: Best and worst dressed

Who is a style queen and who should sack the stylist?
Best dressed: Jennifer Garner
It's taken a long time, one marriage and two children, but Jennifer Garner is finally unleashing herself on an unsuspecting public. And in a word, wow!
She's poured herself into a fabulous jewel-encrusted leather and lace Valentino dress that perfectly shows off the benefits of those five-a-week workouts. We're impressed! It's just a shame this transformation has taken such a long time.
But then when your husband's ex (aka Jennifer Lopez, who could forget the lovely Bennifer?!) is renowned for her slavish devotion to the "if you've got it, flaunt it" school of dressing, maybe it's not so surprising that this Jennifer was a bit more restrained.
Not any more: sexy and stylish, this outfit shows that there's another Jenny on the block.
Worst dressed: Anne Hathaway
It's been quite a while since she starred as the fashion ingénue in The Devil Wears Prada, and obviously any lessons learnt on set have been long forgotten.
This may be a Marchesa dress, but Ms Hathaway manages the quite incredible feat of making it look like something plucked off the bargain-basement rail. We're quite in awe of just how she did it actually.
Still as the inimitable Mrs Beckham has said, that extra half an inch makes all the difference, and this strapless, feathered design would look so much better if there was a little more to admire. And the colour isn't exactly, ahem, flattering...
Anne, before it's too late and you find yourself a permanent fixture on the worst-dressed lists, get a new stylist.
