Red Carpet Week: Best and worst dressed
Who is a style queen and who should be taken away by the fashion police this week?
Best dressed: Rachel Bilson
Wow, she may be all grown up (she's about to turn 30) but Rachel Bilson could pass for a college grad, albeit one with a fabulous wardrobe and unlimited funds!
The former OC cutie has certainly developed her sartorial style since she starred in that quintessential California soap.
Eclectic and striking, her ensembles even caught Karl Lagerfeld's oh-so-discerning eye and the two teamed up for an advertising campaign -- admittedly one that involved ice cream rather than handbags.
Rachel may have endeared herself to her male co-stars by going out with them (shush, don't tell, but we kind of liked Adam Brody too), but we doubt that her former on-screen BFF is too happy.
After all, Mischa Barton did fancy herself as a fashionista, even designing her own range of handbags, but Ms Bilson has definitely outshone her.
We're loving this pretty Erin Fetherston dress, and teaming it with an emerald box clutch (it's all about jewel shades right now) brings it back up to date.
Worst dressed: Lily Cole
Oh, the folly of youth. Wouldn't you think that Lily Cole would know all about making the most of her assets?
After all, this is no mere supermodel we're talking about.
Cole has just graduated from Cambridge with a double first, so chances are she's heard all about the new theory of using your 'erotic capital', aka 'show me the money, honey'.
Still, perhaps this is the 23-year-old's attempt to stand out from the ever-growing crowd of movie-struck models.
Any clothes horse can look good; it takes a truly brave one to appear at the premiere of their film in an outfit like this.
Yes, it certainly hugs her svelte figure (perhaps a bit too closely) but, Lily dear, there's a reason why wearing a creepy face on your chest hasn't become the latest must-have accessory.
Cole may have dreamy good looks, but this is the stuff of nightmares.
