Problem solving underwear

Bra straps can be such a pain in summer, showing themselves off when you least want them to.
Designers have excelled themselves this summer, engineering lots of cutaway panels and windows into separates and dresses. Lovely to look at and rather interesting when it comes to achieving unusual tan marks.
However, when it comes to trying to match a working bra with cutaway tops, it can be a real pain which is why Weekend magazine decided to come to your aid and show you some problem solving solutions.
I was well underway with this feature when my head was turned. I went to Brown Thomas in Grafton Street Ann Deal, the fast talking, high achieving entrepreneur behind Fashion Forms. I had a throbbing headache after jumping off an early flight from Paris but I quickly sat up and took note after talking a few minutes to this North Carolina-born business woman.
Ann was the woman behind the original water bra which changed the bra industry as far as padding is concerned.
Now based in Ventura, California, Ann has dreamt up bra designs to solve nearly every fashion problem, from the slash front dress with picture window at the back to the most difficult of all .....the side less, backless gown.
One of Ann's most exciting discoveries has been the reusable adhesive silicone she uses in her 'U Plunge Backless Strapless bra' and we thought it ticked all the right boxes, front and back, when we use it with our dramatic DVF sequined gown.
The same adhesive is also used on her 'Go Bare' Backless Strapless Bra which literally sticks to your skin under your arms, leaving you with a completely bare back but a supported bust line.
This reusable silicone also features in the Body Sculpting Backless Strapless Bra which remains sticky for up to 25 wears.
Ann's southern drawl was equally as captivating as her products and she gave me a sneak preview of her newest bra which launches in the Autumn.
Her approach to lingerie echoes the words of Christian Dior who said "Without foundation, there can be no fashion."
I'm not at all surprised that her products are amongst the best sellers on Victoria's Secrets and on asos.com
