Prince Harry gets front row invite to Victoria's Secret inaugural London fashion show
Candice Swanepoel thinks it's "natural" for Victoria's Secret to come to London.
It was confirmed yesterday that the lingerie giant's annual show will be held in the English capital this year. Candice, who wore the $10 million Fantasy Bra during the last production in New York, is looking forward to the change of scenery and atmosphere.
"Victoria’s Secret has become such an international brand, and the show has been in Cannes before, we’ve done it in Los Angeles, Miami, and the last couple of years in New York, and I think it’s just natural for us to come to London," she told graziadaily.co.uk.
"I'm most excited about it being a much bigger event - there will be 2500 people there and we’re used to 1000 - and it's a black tie event so the audience gets to really dress up and enjoy the event as well."
Rihanna and Taylor Swift were just two of the musicians who previously performed at the shows. When asked whether she'd like British pop sensations One Direction to take part in London, Candice couldn't contain her excitement.
"Awh, they’re so cute! I get so emotional when I'm on a plane and I was watching their documentary on the way over here and I was in bits! I was like one of those little teenage girls screaming, like ‘ahhhh!'" she laughed.
Adriana Lima joined Candice for the interview. She too is thrilled about the relocation and shared two big names she hopes to see in attendance.
"There is a bunch that we’d like to invite! I would like to see Elton John because I have a huge crush. I really love him! And we would like to invite Prince Harry," Adriana smiled.
"As everybody knows, London is the centre of fashion in the world. I could not think of a better place than here to hold the fashion show.
