Dubliner Hannah Devane was shopping in Brown Thomas last May when the supermodel asked her to audition for Sky Living show 'Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model'.

From 86 girls called over to UK heats, the 21-year-old from Ballsbridge is now one of 11 finalists left in the series.

Episode seven of the reality show has the competition coming to Dublin where the girls pose for renowned fashion photographer Barry McCall and meet top Irish model Yvonne Keating.

Ms Devane revealed that during filming she was showered with goodwill messages from locals.

"The home support during this has been incredible. There seems to be so many people watching the series in Ireland, it's hard to get down a street without people stopping to say they wanted me to win," she told the Irish Independent.

Viewers have already seen the brunette take part in a nude photo shoot for the show to promote the All For Eve skincare range.

"Everything is put there to test you but I felt reasonably comfortable doing it. The whole thing was very tastefully done. We had Elle on set to coach us and she really put us at our ease," said the southsider who graduated with a degree in Social Science from UCD last May.

'Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model' airs on Sky Living tonight at 9pm.
