Now the men are really buying into world of fashion
MEN are outshopping women. It's what women always suspected, but style-conscious men were too bashful to admit.
Research from Harvey Nichols has revealed that female customers "typically make a purchase on fashion or accessories every 34 days, whereas a returning male customer makes a purchase on fashion or accessories every 30 days".
The insights into customers were revealed yesterday as Paula Reed, Harvey Nichols's group fashion director, showcased key autumn-winter 13 trends at their Dundrum store in Dublin, including 'Boy, Oh Boy' classic suiting from Dries Van Noten, Paul Smith and Goat.
New brands arriving into Harvey Nichols this season include Caractere, Red Valentino and Herno. The last is an impressive Italian outwear label whose 'puffa' coats and jackets are superlight and could fit in a small handbag.
