Style icon:

For attitude to personal appearance, it's my mum, who showed me that if you even just try to make yourself look better it will help make you feel better.

Last thing you bought:

Navy bomber jacket from COS.

Favourite shop:

I adore Siopaella in Temple Bar. I also love 1933 Furniture in Navan.

Favourite fashion website:

My own site frockadvisor.com of course - fashion's newest insider!

Favourite cologne:

I don't wear fragrance, and don't like it on a man.

Favourite accessories brand/designer:

Victoria Beckham for guts and (as it turns out) style, but mostly Hermès for enduring beauty.

Shorts or trousers?

Shorts as often and as inappropriately as possible.

Which do you love the most - clothes, accessories or shoes?

Clothes, then shoes. I don't bother much with accessories, except I do have an Imelda Marcos-style collection of man bags.

Biggest splurge:

A Gucci coat, I bought it many years ago when I had a working credit card, it was IR£2,500. I was young and STUPID! (Even saying that now hurts).

Favourite dessert:

I don't eat dessert, for goodness sake!

Favourite shoes:

My Lanvin boots which I've had forever, and adore.

Favourite bag:

A brown leather vintage, bought for $50 in New York.

Do you have a pet?

Yes, a stunning puppy call Nancy Drew.

Must-have beauty product:

Any of the Kiehl's facial products.

What are you coveting right now?

Nothing, I am very happy and material things no longer bring me happiness… Oh look at those shoes!

Favourite song at the moment:

What Do You Mean by Justin Bieber - it's actually really good.
