'My daughter is a model -- and her agency asked me if I'd be interested in it too!'

Mum-of-two Helen Fox (55) from Summerhill, Meath, reveals how she was snapped up by the same agency as 26-year-old daughter Grace.
"My daughter Grace is a part-time model with Assets Model Agency in Dublin. One day last year, I went with her to collect a cheque when they asked me if I would be interested in modelling too.
"Having worked as a model in the '70s, I was delighted to be given the opportunity to do it again. At first, it was quite nerve-wracking getting back on the catwalk.
"But the younger girls, who all know me as 'Grace's mum', have been really welcoming.
"Older models are definitely the way forward. It's ridiculous when young girls are used to model fashion for women in their 50s.
"Women often come up to me after fashion shows to say, 'Well done.' They're thrilled to see women their own age represented on the runway.
"Unless you're a big name like Twiggy, who models for Marks & Spencer, though, there isn't enough work to quit your day job.
"I also run an equestrian centre, which helps keep me fit.
"Looking good as you get older is all in the genes. Most people don't believe I'm 55 in the first place -- so why would I pretend to be 45?"
