Irish supermodel in the making Clara McSweeney might be a rising runway star, but she's putting her education first.
The fifth year secondary school student, who turned 17 in November, is already a London Fashion Week veteran having walked for several season over the last two years.
Having been scouted by agent Andrea Roche at the age of 15, the Cork native has been one of Ireland's busiest models and is planning on taking her career to new heights.
As for juggling her studies and the catwalk, the down-to-earth beauty prefers to keep her life in the limelight separate.
"I don't really like to tell them [my schoolmates], I just keep those things to myself," she told Independent.ie
And despite her burgeoning modelling career, she is determined to pursue academia and is determined to complete her education.
"I want to be a veterinarian. Modelling is something to do really - it's good for money and experience. I'll see how it goes," she added.
Clara was showing off the new season looks for Penneys at the Botanical Gardens and explained she never gets used to modelling barely there attire in the cold weather.
