Banana Republic’s Mad Men collection has hit stores.
The collection lends itself to the tailored, figure hugging 1960s styles that feature on the Emmy-and Golden Globe Award-winning AMC series.
The 65-piece limited-edition line is a collaboration between Banana Republic’s design team, helmed by creative director Simon Kneen, and Mad Men’s designer Janie Bryant.
The successful American drama stars actors Jon Hamm, January Jones, and Christina Hendricks, and has earned a strong fan base for its storylines and glamorous production design.
Janie’s work on the show inspired Michael Kors' Fall 2008 collection, and the award-winning clothes designer says she is excited for the chic collection to hit stores.
"I've been obsessed with old movies from the time that I was a very, very little girl," she told the nationalpost.com.
"I didn't care about who the actors were, it was only about the costumes!"
The collection brings the show’s signature looks to its fans, with prices ranging from $40 for their silk scarves to $250 for a classic leopard-print haircalf satchel.
Other pieces include a chic tweed jacket and a curve-hugging cowl-neck dress.
There is also male fashion on offer with Banana Republic’s Mad Men men’s collection.
The whole collection can be seen at Banana Republic’s website which delivers to Ireland.
