Kim Kardashian reveals baby line inspiration
It appears reality star Kim Kardashian has stepped into the mummy role just fine.
The mum-of-one to baby Nori and her sisters are adding a new line to their ever-expanding fashion empire but this time it’s for the little ones.
Kim, along with siblings Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, are releasing their own children's clothing line next month which is sure to fly out the door.
The fashion line, Kardashian Kids, will no doubt feature some of the adorable little pieces that Kim’s daughter North West has been pictured in recently.
‘‘Now, as a mom, I cherish the time my baby and I spend together getting her dressed. The items in this collection are exactly what I have imagined for her.
‘‘Our grandmother opened a children’s fashion store, and from an early age I adored baby fashion,’’ Kim said in a statement.
When Kourtney had her first child, the sisters were inspired to create a brand for little girls.
‘‘Later when Penelope was born, my sisters and I had so many ideas for how we wanted to dress her, but didn’t always find what we were envisioning,’’ she added.
It will be sold exclusively at Babies R' Us in the US for mums wanting to dress their daughters in cute bows and floaty dresses, inspired by the sisters and their too-cute-to-be-true brood.
Colourful butterfly and leopard prints dominate the new collection, while cute polka-dots are also a favourite with the Kardashian sisters.
Like her sister Kim, Kourtney can also draw from her own experience as a mother when designing future collections for the brand.
Her and partner Scott Disick have two children, daughter Penelope and son Mason.
“Since becoming a mom, I’ve been so inspired to create Kardashian Kids with perfect prints, heavenly fabrics for a baby’s skin and to bring fashion to the baby world that is affordable,” Kourtney said in a statement.
It seems the reality moguls wanted to make the collection affordable for their fans as each piece will retail between $15 to $30.
“It’s our new, exclusive signature collection designed just for girls in sizes up to 24 months,” according to the product description.
The collection will be available in the states from March 15.
