Kathryn Bigelow has directed a high fashion fragrance advertisement for Chanel.

The Oscar-winning director lent her creative eye to the stunning black and white clip for the fashion house’s Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême for men scent, WWD reports.

The third addition in the Allure range, the perfume was inspired by “extreme sports and big-wave surfing,” All Media NY claims.

It stars longhaired surf professional Danny Fuller who shows off his tattooed torso in the arty clip.

The sporty scent mixes mint, sage, black pepper from Madagascar, tonka bean and sandalwood.

Chanel hired Hurt Locker filmmaker Kathryn for her work on 1991 movie Point Break, which is based around a group of surfers suspected to be criminals.

“Express an extreme attitude through moments of adrenaline,” the slogan reads, according to All Media NY.

The advert will premiere on Chanel.com on March 1.
