Favourite shop?

American Apparel and second-hand shops, especially the Irish Cancer Society shop in Rathmines.

Best bargain buy?

A navy trench with a floral and bird print for €60 from Georges Arcade.

Biggest splurge?

A full-length, fitted, couture ball gown for €1,000 in New Zealand. I can't remember the designer, but it looked like a load of printed, taffeta curtains sewn together. I've only worn it twice.

Best and worst dressed style icons?

The best is Mischa Barton and the worst is Jordan.

Favourite label or designer?

Bottega Veneta.

Monthly spend on clothes?

Between €20 and €30.

Last fashion buy?

This top.

Biggest fashion mistake?

The couture dress.

What do you love and hate in fashion?

I love structure and colour in an outfit, and also when colours are put together really well, and I hate when people over-accessorise.
