The Jaeger London label continues to make English heritage hip.

Jaeger, founded in 1884, has been making heritage hip for several seasons now, chiefly through its Jaeger London label which has even been worn by Kate Moss.

Yesterday’s show, continued the hip celebrity link, by luring The Saturdays, The X Factor’s Joe McElderry, Peaches Geldof and Rachel Stevens for a ringside view of the autumn/winter 2010/2011 collection.

Grey flannel and leather blazers were double-buckled, low on the hips, over skinny trousers. Black, collarless shirts came with bold, black-and-white check skirts.

Sheepskin trimmed cool flying jackets, as well as the high-heel and flat, patent boots, which are sure to become a must-have.

Lacey, cobweb-knit fashioned sweaters with narrow velvet trousers, tucked into boots, or high-waisted dresses, often accessorised with little Fez-style caps.

Oversized and simplified 60s daisy prints in olive and violet silk were used for long-sleeved shift-dresses, with a deep blue velvet reprised for vintage-style dresses with matching shoe-boots, with gold heels.
