Introducing the Miss University hopefuls with brains and beauty to burn

Its that time of year again to roll out the red carpet and welcome the  bevy of college beauties from around the country! 35 representatives will be competing in this years coveted Miss University 2014. The current title holder Gemma Fowler will be present on the night to hand over her crown to the next lucky lady.

 This stellar night will take place in Dublin City Centres popular venue Dandelion on Saturday  12th of April.  

Each of the 32 university girls will strut their stuff on the catwalk three times! In the first round the girls will model their very own Nightclub Wear. The second round sees the girls in bikinis, and finally they will showcase their beautiful formal dresses, all the while decked out in jewels by Crystals and Co! 
After Judges  tot up the judges scores, the top 8 girls will go through to the question round where following a nail-biting interval Miss University 2014 will be crowned along with two runners up.

The Winner of Miss University will receive a whole host of prizes including a year-long modeling contract with Assets, training by Your Fitness Underground and much more fabulous gifts from other sponsors who are made up of FM104, MakeupFabLicious, , Crystals and Co

This new crop of beauty pageant hopefuls are competing for the title of Miss University.

Reigning title holder Gemma Fowler will crown her replacement this week, and the up and comers decided to go head first into the Irish modelling scene by posing in bikinis.

And where else? At Stephen's Green.

The 35 contestants will take to Dandelion pub to compete for the title and represent Miss University at the Miss Ireland pageant.

The winner will also nab a year long modelling contract with Assets, a personal trainer and more.

Previous winner Holly Carpenter went on to win the national title and is now of one of Ireland's top models, nabbing a place in the finals of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model with Elle MacPherson and competed at Miss World in 2011.
