Angela Scanlon

This John Rocha number was my favourite look of the night. It was fun and quirky with lots of netting and pretty floral applique.

Prom and ballerina dresses were big news at the IFTAs this year - thank god, those floor length gowns look like a night mare to walk and dance in.

Angela finished her look off with simple black shoes from Office and a bling tastic box clutch by Christian Louboutin

Missy Keating

This outfit was just adorable; you can't go wrong with a LBD. Future style star in the making.

I loved the story behind Mary's dress - she saw it in a shop window in Manhattan and fell head over heels in love with it. But all that black velvet reminded me of Morticia Addams - and not in a good way.

Amy Huberman:

Amy is the ultimate girly girl and whenever she steps onto the red carpet she radiates femininity. I thought her Helen Cody nude prom dress was perfect for the occasion, looked stylish but also classic. The organza overlay and detail were the key feature, needing little jewelry. Her beehive, almost 60s looking hairstyle complimented the frock, as did her simple shoes.

Deirdre O’Kane:

Deirdre may not have won an award for her portrayal in Moone Boy, but she definitely knocked it out of the park with this outfit in my view. I loved her blush pink silk dress with wrap around detail. It reminded me of old Hollywood. She teamed it with a pink sequin blazer, which gave it a hit of youth. Her look was put together by stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick and for me it was the sartorial win of the night.

Caoilfhionn Dunne:

Angelina Jolie stopped traffic when she turned up at the BAFTAs in a tuxedo, with a draped dickie bow and a sexy pair of black patent court shoes. She was absolutely smouldering. It takes a lot of work to pull off a look as masterful and seemingly effortless as this and unfortunately Caoilfhionn didn’t quite nail it. I felt her attempt was crying out for groomed hair and some red lippie. Also detested the military boots.
