If Choo fits wear it... a new twist on Donegal tweed

It was a case of Prince Charming getting down on bended knee to his wife in aid of a good cause. Keith Duffy of Boyzone was in Brown Thomas yesterday with his wife Lisa launching a collection of limited-edition designer boots by Jimmy Choo.
The boots are a special pedigree for those who like thoroughbreds, combining Donegal tweed with the Choo style for a top breed of boot.
A quarter of all the proceeds from the sales of these boots at BT will go to Irish Autism Action.
The Jimmy Choo label, owned by female entrepreneur Tamara Mellon, approached Brown Thomas to create a uniquely Irish twist to their boots, and with tweed being so fashionable right now they decided to design two totally distinctive boots.
The first one is the Breidin for €825 and then the Twillen for €795. One is a cuffed ankle boot and the other is in the shape of a riding boot with a tweed inset.
Later, Lorraine Keane arrived for the evening reception with music and an auction to raise extra funds.
Keith was looking refreshed and wearing a dapper grey chalk pinstripe Tom Ford suit and Lisa wore a cutting-edge Balmain dress from the store's Designer Rooms.
She commented that "it is a cause that is very close to their hearts", as their own daughter Mia was diagnosed with autism.
Keith is patron of Irish Autism Action and has worked hard to promote autism issues.
