How to tell your UGGs from your FUGGs

After Gardai seized 15,000 pairs of fake UGGs yesterday, here are 5 ways on telling a fake

1. Check the Label

Real Uggs are actually Made in China, so if they say made in Australia,  they are not the deal deal.

2. Check the Packaging

Real UGGs come in a strong brown cardboard box.Fake Uggs are sold in light weight UGG brown papaer bags.   The care booklet it comes with is cream coloured  high quality grade paper.

3. Check the inserts

Real UGG boots have shoe inserts  to prevent them from going out of shape in trasit.  Fake UGGs dont have these.

4.  Check the fur

Real UGGS come with a cream fluffy thick lining. Fake UGGs have far inferior lining and will tend to come off if you give even a slight tug.

5. Check the soles

Real UGGS have flexible soles that are bendy, fame UGGS are rigid and hard.  Real UGGS soles are 1/2 in thick, fake UGGs are much thinner.
