Head and shoulders above rest as 'Belles' line out
A Dublin woman scored with an unusual headpiece in one of the hottest off-pitch events for Leinster Rugby fans at the weekend.
Breena Cooper, from west Dublin, created her design with mini-rugby balls, which she coordinated with a royal blue dress and a Leinster scarf, used as a belt.
She took first place in the Best Dressed 'Blue Belle' Competition during Leinster Rugby Ladies Night, which was held before and after the Magners League match against Ulster on Saturday.
Second place in the best-dressed stakes went to Teresa Carberry from Ardee, Co Louth, who turned a Leinster flag into an elegant one-shoulder dress. The outfits were judged by stars Gordon D'Arcy and Rhys Ruddock.
Leinster were winners on the pitch while Action Breast Cancer was a big winner off it, with more than €8,000 raised on the night.
