THE Irish woman who made global headlines when she left 'Grazia' for Harvey Nichols has quit her fashion director position after one year.
Paula Reed joined the luxury department store 13 months ago. As fashion director, she led the buying team for Harvey Nichols stores in the UK, Dundrum Town Centre in Dublin as well as the Middle East, Turkey and Hong Kong.
"Funny how things turn out," Ms Reed tweeted, as the news broke that she was leaving over the weekend.
In a statement published on Vogue.com, the Derry-born journalist and writer said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team at Harvey Nichols and now look forward to new and exciting opportunities."
She didn't respond to claims her exit was linked to a Peta protest about the reintroduction of goods trimmed with fur at Harvey Nichols.
